About Us
This project stems from the vision and drive of its founder, Inés Monroy, who has dedicated her career to improving people’s quality of life through renewable energy since 2005 and is also Mediator, registered in the Spanish Ministry of Justice.
With over 15 years of experience, she has led and participated in solar photovoltaic projects across Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region, where she has often worked directly—and even lived—with local communities. This has allowed her to develop an approach to engagement grounded in respect for native cultures and traditions.
In 2022, during her studies in Sustainability, she decided to focus her research on the social aspects of energy projects. From this research emerged unique and tailored methodologies for renewable energy projects, combining her field experience with academic support from mentors at the University of Cambridge. Among these is Social License Due DiligenceSM, a groundbreaking tool for measuring the level of social license a renewable energy project holds.
This work is complemented by participatory processes together with instruments to prevent, manage and solve conflicts, aimed at fostering active listening, a key tool for building trust, transparency, and collaboration, and for developing sustainable, long-lasting solutions.
